A new look for Kuyi Mobile

Meet the new Kuyi Mobile website version 2.0!

In line with my never ending desire to improve my products and services--I've recently overhauled Kuyi Mobile's website to reflect a more modular, vivid and user-friendlier interface. With the help of a good friend and colleague of mine (thanks to @tjasko of Techcores!), we were able to implement and roll-out the new design in a matter of days! The idea for the new design is to project a "coupon-like" look so that readers can easily find their way across the entire site eventhough we don't have much content to offer yet. The elements are sorted into panels so we can easily update each portion as we feel the need to. We're also anticipating the release of more games in the future and the new site design will enable us to showcase each new product in a breeze. The site colors are now more catchy and appealing so we can better highlight the products that we're offering. We just need more products so we can have additional content for the site--and we're working hard on that. What do you think? :)

Overwhelmed!

Starting up an online business?

Working on three different game projects, doing paperworks for my new company, handling preparations for my upcoming *wedding (oh yeah!) and a few more commitments here and there--whew! I'm so overwhelmed the past several days, hence the lack of post. If you're following me on twitter you'd probably know. Anyway, I'd like to take this opportunity to not really thank but recognize three significant books that helped me establish my new online venture. If you're looking at starting up an online business, then be sure to check out: The Little Black Book of Online Business by Paul Galloway (contains tons of online resources which will save you valuable time); Twitter Power by Joel Comm (if you need an extra online marketing boost and want to harness the power of Twitter); and Don't Make Me Think by Steve Krug (its a great book on website usability and how you can modify your page to adapt to customer's needs). Got the first book from a local bookstore and I bought the last two online because its not available locally. Highly recommended!

Oh, and I've been busy following the latest UAAP games too! It seems like its not a good year for DLSU--that's okay guys! Let's try again next year! Got this photo below from Vic. :)

Meet my new friends!

Microsoft's New Xbox Experience, the replacement to its old XBox 360 Dashboard

I've been spending a lot of my nights lately playing on XBox Live (notice the lack of posts)--getting the feel as to how most XBox games handle online play in preparation for my upcoming XBox 360 game project.  Playing the games are really fun but the real essence of XBox Live, as I've realized is being part of a huge gaming community.  Since a month ago, I've gained a lot of new "online friends", meeting them almost every night, hanging out with them, playing multiplayer games and getting those hard achievement points together.  It's almost similar to IRC except that this time, you know you already share the same passion for games.  Now I know why a lot of people are getting hooked playing games online.  To Fallzero8, Sink And Die 14, winluck27, Daizzy, pataylagi, servo101, yaszer18, zestychessy, adidas727, winmag27, GenkiSushi, poi5on13...game on guys!

Belated Kung Hei Fat Choi everyone! :)

Simpsonize me!

Check out Simpsonize Me! I tried out their online tool and though its pretty neat, it isn't that accurate. Do I look like my Simpsonized version? You judge! Maybe I should also try simpsonizing our dogs and cats and have my own version of the Itchy and Scratchy Show. :)

This is what happens when I stay too much at home. Oh well.
