My 32nd birthday...

Usually, the 1st or the 18th birthdays are the most popular but mine's a different story. I celebrated my 32nd birthday yesterday (July 19) and it was one of the most unforgettable birthdays I ever had. It was actually a simple lunch out with my close relatives and Phoebe. I got the best gift I could ever hope for--a wonderful and loving partner, Phoebe, a very supportive family, and something I can't say yet! Its days like this that reminds me how great the Lord is and though some doors in our lives close, others will always open and provide a better direction.

I also want to share something I do with my family every year on my birthday. I started collecting 5 and 10 peso coins in a piggy bank since 2005 and every year, we hold a raffle--the one who can make the closest guess on the total amount of the coins inside the piggy bank, gets the entire thing! This year, the prize was Php 4,290, not bad huh? My family is so into this and it makes my birthday even more exciting. What a great way to bond and the nice thing about it is that my family is always excited whenever my birthday gets near, LOL. :)
